Sixteen Players on Track to Laconia from North Conway

North Conway, NH –   Bobby Williams, Jr. of Lake Sunapee Country Club fires two-over, 73, to lead the qualifying group of sixteen players to Laconia Country Club for the State Amateur Championship.  Williams kept it consistent throughout his round with just one birdie and three bogeys and completing his back nine in one-under par.
Those advancing on to Laconia with Williams are Eric Aguiar (75), Nathan Gardner (76), Rob Brewster (77), Rob Zimmerman, Jr. (77), Kevin Strong (77), Jeffrey Monahan (77), Travis Landry (77), Stephen Fournier (79), Joshua Lovering (80), Kurt Grabher (80), Jeff Salisbury (81), John Idoine III (81), Robert Koch (81), Ryan Phinney (81), and Derek Jensen (81).
The 113th New Hampshire Amateur Championship will be held at Laconia Country Club from July 11th-16th. The event is a stroke play to match play format with the low 64 players from the 2-day medal play advancing to match play. The next qualifier will be at Hanover Country Club, June 22nd.
