Grondahl Grinds Out Even Par at Breakfast Hill

Greenland, NH –   The wind was howling at Breakfast Hill as sixteen players with a score of 80 or better advance to the State Amateur Championship next month.  A notable performance came from Justin Grondahl from The Golf Club of New England, firing an even-par 72.  Grondahl shot at least three strokes better than the remainder of the field, solidifying his spot at Laconia.
Along with Grondahl going to Laconia are Jabe Felch (75), Eric Byrne (75), Tillman Evers (75), Derek Mahoney (77), Christopher Johnson (77), Kurt Eddins (77), Jimmy Lyndes (78), Ben French (78), Nicholas Barnes (78), Charlie McNeeley (78), Kevin Delaney (79), Scott Orlosk (79), Taylor Simpson (80), Patrick Taber (80), and Jim Tokanel (80).
The 113th New Hampshire Amateur Championship will be held at Laconia Country Club from July 11th-16th. The event is a stroke play to match play format with the low 64 players from the 2-day medal play advancing to match play. The next qualifier will be at North Conway, June 15th.
