Concord, NH – The New Hampshire Golf Association (NHGA) is pleased to announce that Audi of Nashua will continue its sponsorship with the NHGA as the title sponsor of the New Hampshire Amateur Championship.  The 115th New Hampshire Amateur Championship will be contested Sunday, July 8th through Friday, July 13th at Hanover Country Club.  This is Audi of Nashua’s third year as the title sponsor of this tournament.
“Audi of Nashua is proud to be the sponsor of the 2018 New Hampshire State Amateur. In our 16 years of doing business in Nashua, we have formed many great relationships with our clients and a great many of them are fine New Hampshire amateur golfers. It’s a great fit for us to be associated with the NHGA, the State Amateur and the golf community of New Hampshire”, says Audi of Nashua COO Larry Bedell.
Audi of Nashua first began sponsoring the New Hampshire Amateur in 2016 when the tournament was held at Laconia Country Club, and again in 2017 at Bretwood Golf Course in Keene.
“We have had a great partnership over the last two years with Larry Bedell and his team at Audi of Nashua and we are excited to continue that for a third year,” says NHGA Executive Director Matt Schmidt.  “Each year this Championship attracts over 250 of the top amateur golfers from around the Granite State, some of them being Audi of Nashua customers, making this relationship a natural fit.”
The New Hampshire Amateur Championship is the premier amateur golf tournament in the Granite State, showcasing the top amateur golfers from around New Hampshire. Six 18-hole pre-qualifiers will be held in advance of the Championship proper. Players advancing from the pre-qualifiers, plus all exempt players will compete in 36-holes of stroke play qualifying at Hanover Country Club beginning July 8th. The low 64 players will then move on to the match play rounds, beginning July 11th with the 36-hole Championship match being held on Friday, July 13th.
Registration for the 115th New Hampshire Amateur Championship is currently open. The competition is open to players with an active New Hampshire GHIN handicap not exceeding 12.0.  Click Here to register.
