C. Michael Hall

Michael became involved with the New Hampshire Golf Association in 2005 and became a member of the Board of Directors in 2006. Since that time he has served on several committees and is currently Chairman of the Junior Committee. Mr. Hall has attended rules clinics held by the USGA/PGA several times and is a qualified rules official. He volunteers throughout the golf season as a Rules Official for the NHGA and the New England Golf Association. He also served as an invited Rules Official at the USGA National Junior Tournament at the Golf Club of New England, New Hampshire’s first National Tournament.

Mr. Hall started playing golf at a local par three golf course at the age of 15, and has been hooked ever since.

In 1969 Michael graduated from the Calhoon School for Marine Engineering in Baltimore, Maryland and subsequently served as an Engineer Officer aboard United States Flag Merchant Marine ships for the next 35 years, the last 14 as Chief Engineer. Some of his qualifications include: Chief Engineer of Steam, Motor and Gas powered vessels of unlimited horsepower. During his many years at sea he was able to visit many countries and play golf the world over. 

As a member of the Rochester Country Club, he has served as a member of the Board of Directors for two terms.
Michael is happily married and has two adult children.
