Perfect Day at Nashua Yields Low Score

Nashua, NH –   On a sunny and 70-degree day in Nashua, eighteen players move on to the State Amateur Championship at Laconia CC, including seven Nashua Country Club members.  The low round for the day came from Will McLaughlin, Concord Country Club, with a one-over, 72.  Those who shot 79 and lower have earned their spot in the Championship proper.
The following players have successfully qualified:  Will McLaughlin (72), Kevin Hobbs (74), Don Reid (76), Ricky Bergevin (76), Bryce Salo (76), Christopher Miele (76), James Jackson (76), Peter Beaulieu (77), Eric McCoy (77), Jake Hollander (77), William Herrmann (77), Cris Mansfield (78), Brian Nowak (78), Craig Moran (79), Anthony Battelle (79), James Kelly (79), Austin Baker (79), Richard Leclerc (79).
The 113th New Hampshire Amateur Championship will be held at Laconia Country Club from July 11th-16th. The event is a stroke play to match play format with the low 64 players from the 2-day medal play advancing to match play. The next qualifier will be at Lochmere Golf & Country Club, June 6th.
