2019 Tri-State Team


The 2019 Tri-State Championship between New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine will take place September 13-15 at Sunday River GC in Maine. In 2018, New Hampshire took home a fifth consecutive victory when it was played just over the New Hampshire border at Brattleboro CC (VT). The team is made up of ten "regular" players and four senior players.

JOHN DEVITO | PASSACONAWAY CC
John earned his spot on this year's team by claiming the 116th New Hampshire Amateur Championship title in a 7&6 victory of Jake Hollander.  He is a strong competitor that has been a part of multiple winning New Hampshire Tri-State teams.

HARVIN GROFT | THE OAKS GL
Harvin claimed his first New Hampshire title this season at the Mid-Amateur Match Play Championship held early in the season at Windham Country Club.  He also secured his spot with a third place finish at the New Hampshire Stroke Play Championship and by earning a spot in the field at the 2018 U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship.

RYAN KOHLER | HOOPER GC
As a regular on the New Hampshire Tri-State team, Ryan finds himself among the top finishers at numerous NHGA events, including the New Hampshire Mid-Amateur Championship and New Hampshire Four Ball Championship, where he took the 4th place position at both.  He also competed alongside fellow team member, Harvin Groft at the 2018 U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship.

JIM CILLEY | RIDGEWOOD CC
Jim finished in second place at the 2018 New Hampshire Mid-Amateur Championship, third at the New Hampshire Players Invitational and 5th at the New Hampshire Four Ball Championship, to name a few accomplishments in the last year.  He has been competing on the New Hampshire Tri-State team for many years now, being a part of many winning team.

JAMIE FERULLO | ROCHESTER CC
Jamie advanced to the Quarterfinals of the New Hampshire Amateur Championship this year to secure his spot on the team.  He also finished in 4th place at the New Hampshire Players Invitational.  He brings plenty of experience to the team as he has been on numerous winning teams.

SAM NATTI | THE MAPLEWOOD GC
Sam has had a strong season of golf with one of his best finishes coming at the New Hampshire Stroke Play Championship, where he ended up in 4th place.  He competed in the New Hampshire Amatuer Championship and advanced to the Round of 32.

JOSH CHAMBERLAIN | STONEBRIDGE CC
Josh worked his way the Tri-State point standing early in the season with a runner-up finish at the Mid-Amateur Match Play Championship.  He then went on to grab a 4th place finish with partner Ryan Kohler at the New Hampshire Four Ball Championship.

MICHAEL MAHAN | ROCHESTER CC
Mike had a strong run at the New Hampshire Amateur Championship, advancing to the Round of 16, bowing out to semifinalist Sam Barton.  He also grabbed the 5th place spot at the New Hampshire Four Ball Championship with partner Jim Cilley.

KEVIN STRONG | ROCHESTER CC
Kevin has demostrated why he belongs on this time all year.  He secured the 9th seed at the New Hampshire Amateur Championship this season and had a T6 finish at the 2018 New Hampshire Mid-Amateur Championship.  This will be his first time competing in the Tri-State tournament.

CAMERON SALO | THE SHATTUCK GC
Cam has been a consistent golfer for New Hampshire and continues to show that.  This season he moved on to the Round of 16 at the New Hampshire Amateur Championship after earning the 13 seed for match play.

CRAIG STECKOWYCH | PORTSMOUTH CC
This season Craig captured his second-straight Senior Match Play Championship title, advanced to the Round of 32 at the New Hampshire Amateur Championship and finished T15 at the New Hampshire Stroke Play Championship.  He is one of the many veterans team New Hampshire has going into this tournament.

DAVID KANE | DERRYFIELD CC
Dave secured his position on the team with a strong showing at the New Hampshire Stroke Play Championship, advancing to the semifinals of the Senior Match Play Championship and finishing T7 at the 2018 New Hampshire Senior Championship.

MIKE BLAIR | BRETWOOD GC
Mike is a familiar are the New Hampshire tournament circuit.  He captured a first place finish in the Senior division at the first event of the season, a Stroke Play Series event at Canterbury Woods CC.  He also earned his spot on the team with 4th place finish at the 2018 New Hampshire Senior Championship.

BOB LANDRY | LOUDON CC
Bob has competed on the New Hampshire Tri-State team in the past.  This year he secured his spot on the team with a runner-up finish at the Senior Match Play Championship and with points earned from his T5 finish at the 2018 New Hampshire Senior Championship.
