NORTH SUTTON, NEW HAMPSHIRE - The Country Club of New Hampshire hosted the Tournament of Champions on Saturday, the second New Hampshire Golf Association (NHGA) Championship of 2014 with winners being crowned in both the regular and senior divisions.

The Tournament of Champions is exclusively for club champions and senior club champions of NHGA member clubs from 2013.

Craig Steckowych of Portsmouth Country Club and Alex von Svoboda of Baker Hill Golf Club were two off the lead each posting a 76.

Landry matched Leavitt’s 37 front nine only to double bogey the par 4- 10th hole. He got one back with a birdie on the par 5-13th only to bogey 14 and 15.

Cilley turned in one over 37 and then bogeyed the 10th. He got back to even par with birdies at 12 and 13 only to bogey the 15th, 16th and 17th.

Silver also shot a front nine 37 only to see his chances sink with bogeys at the 13th, 14th and 16th.

Daniel Arvanitis out of Derryfield Country Club in Manchester repeated as senior champion posting a scorching 3 under par 69 to beat second place finisher John Esterbrook of Crotched Mountain Golf Club and Resort by a full seven shots.  Arvanitis’s 69 was the only under par round of the day in the entire field.

Arvanitis went out in 35 with birdies on the 2nd and the 6th with the only bogey on his card at the 3rd. On the back nine he parred through 14, birdied the 185 par 3- 15th and finished in style with a birdie at the last for the only sub-70 round of the day.
