Forcier Earns Medalist at Laconia CC

Laconia, NH – Billy Forcier (Abenaqui CC) managed to navigate a cold and wet Laconia Country Club to earn medalist honors at the second State Amateur Championship Qualifier with a two-over-par 74. Forcier matched his four birdies with four bogeys, and had a double bogey on the 11th hole to compliment his nine pars.
A total of five players from Laconia Country Club qualified for the Championship. Adham Darwish (76), Eric Foster (77), AJ Correia (78), Bill Duggan (81), and Scott Sullivan (83) all punched a ticket to Mount Washington.

The 112th New Hampshire Amateur Championship will be held at the Mount Washington Resort Golf Club from July 13th – 18th. The event is a stroke play to match play format with the low 64 players from the 2-day medal play advancing to match play. The next qualifier will be at Montcalm Golf Club on June 9th.
