Cilley and Mahan Lead after Round One

Canterbury, NH – Jim Cilley (Lochmere Golf & CC) and Michael Mahan (Cochecho CC) are leading the New Hampshire Four-Ball Championship after the 1st round of play at Canterbury Woods Country Club. The pair shot a 7-under-par 65 with nine birdies and two bogeys. The 2010 champions of this event, Cilley and Mahan will look to continue their exceptional play tomorrow for the second and final round of the event at Owl’s Nest Golf Club.
2013 Champions Ryan Kohler and Josh Chamberlain are one-shot back after firing a 66. Chelso Barrett (Bretwood GC) and Tim Manwaring (Bretwood GC) also carded a 66 to tie for 2nd place heading into the final round.
Tomorrow’s round at Owl’s Nest will begin at 10:00 am with Cilley/Mahan and Chamberlain/Kohler teeing off at 11:50 am. Barrett/Manwaring will play at 11:40 am and will be joined by Peter Keilty (Portsmouth CC) and Kevin Strong (Rochester CC).
