Glenn Walton, President

Glenn has lived in New Hampshire since 1984 and graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a BS in Business Administration. He spent eight years in the military, most notably serving as an Airborne Ranger Infantryman in the 75th Ranger Regiment of the US Army’s Special Operations Command. Upon returning to New Hampshire, Glenn spent seven years in the golf industry. In 2001, he left the golf industry and spent 15 years working in management for a major national retailer at locations throughout New Hampshire.  Now semi-retired, Walton spends much of his time on the golf course playing or volunteering.

Walton spent nearly 20 years as a member at Manchester Country Club, where he served on numerous committees and the Board of Directors.  Glenn is currently a member of The Golf Club of New England and Portsmouth Country Club.  He has been a long-time Board member of the McDonough Scholarship Foundation and became its President in 2018.  He began volunteering with the NHGA in 2007 as a member of the course rating team, joined the Board of Directors in 2010 and served as President from 2016-2018.  When he is not playing he enjoys volunteering as a starter at various NHGA events.  Glenn and his wife, Kathy, reside in Manchester, New Hampshire.
