2020 New Hampshire Golf Hall of Fame Ceremony Postponed

August 4th, 2020

Concord, NH – Due to the ongoing concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic and out of an abundance of caution for those planning to attend, the New Hampshire Golf Association (NHGA) has made the decision to postpone the 2020 New Hampshire Golf Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony which was scheduled to be held later in the year.
The ceremony, held each year in October, honors the year’s New Hampshire Golf Hall of Fame Inductees, New Hampshire Golf Association Players of the Year, past champions and other special awards from allied golf associations in the Granite State.
“The NHGA is extremely disappointed to postpone our Hall of Fame ceremony but we feel this decision is in the best interest of our staff, members, and those that will be honored,” states NHGA Executive Director, Matt Schmidt.
“We do hope to honor our 2020 champions and recognize all those that have helped to make this year an overwhelming success despite all the challenges that we continue to work through,” continues Schmidt.  “We look forward to a true celebration of our Hall of Fame inductees in 2021.”
The NHGA hopes to be able to honor this year’s champions in some form at the end of the year, including the 2020 Players of the Year and NHGA Junior Tour Players of the Year.
